The Nashik satsang
A small, heartfelt gathering that grows by word of mouth — the way bhakti always travels.
There was no plan and no committee. A few devotees of Maharaj-ji, scattered across Nashik, found one another. One offered his office after work hours; someone brought a photo and a diya; someone knew the Hanuman Chalisa by heart. The first Tuesday there were a handful. The next, a few more.
It remains exactly that — informal, organic, unhurried. We are not running an institution. We are simply keeping a Tuesday open, lighting a lamp, and singing, trusting Maharaj-ji to bring whoever is meant to come. More and more are coming.
What an evening looks like
- 01
Arrive a little before 6
Slip off your shoes, settle in. Latecomers are welcome too — Maharaj-ji’s door was never closed.
- 02
Aarti & the Hanuman Chalisa
We light the diya and sing the aarti and the Chalisa together. You need not know the words — they arrive on their own.
- 03
Kirtan & quiet
A little call-and-response chanting of the divine names, then a few minutes of silence to simply be.
- 04
Prasad & chai
We share whatever has been offered. Feeding everyone was Maharaj-ji’s first instruction — so no one leaves empty.
There is nothing to prepare and nothing to bring but yourself. Come as you are.
Joining us
Because we currently gather in a kind devotee’s private office, we share the exact address personally rather than posting it publicly. Send a quick hello and we’ll warmly guide you in for the next Tuesday.
Ask to join →Toward a dham in Nashik
Kainchi, Taos, Thane — every one of Maharaj-ji’s dhams began as a few hearts gathering. There is quiet talk now of one day creating such a place here: a permanent home where the lamp need never be packed away, where anyone can come for darshan, kirtan and a meal.
We are at the very beginning — the foundation-stone stage. If that vision stirs something in you, come sit with us first, and let’s walk toward it together. सबकी सेवा.
